This legendary portrait captures Roger Moore’s debut as James Bond, photographed by the iconic Terry O’Neill, one of the most collected photographers in the world. His works hang in national galleries and prestigious private collections across the globe. This particular image—Moore, poised with his Walther PPK—has become one of O’Neill’s most celebrated.

Selected as part of the electrifying exhibition ‘Hollywood Reloaded’ by artist and former Special Forces soldier Bran Symondson, this piece holds even deeper significance: it was the final project Terry O’Neill collaborated on before his passing, making it a profoundly personal and historic work for both artists.

The original photograph is hand-signed by both Terry O’Neill and Bran Symondson, elevating it to an exceptionally rare collector’s item with deep provenance.

‘Hollywood Reloaded’ reimagines iconic portraits of cinematic legends such as Michael Caine, Brigitte Bardot, and Roger Moore, each portrayed holding a firearm. In Symondson’s transformative approach, these weapons are no longer just props—they become canvases of critique. The guns in each image have been shot with the exact same firearm they depict, leaving behind real bullet holes, forcing viewers to literally and metaphorically look through the damage.

This powerful juxtaposition challenges the glamorization of guns in film, confronting viewers with the stark realities behind these cinematic symbols. The impact is both visual and conceptual—prompting a critical reexamination of how violence is portrayed and consumed in popular culture.

With only three editions created worldwide, each subtly different through the placement of real butterflies and bearing the signatures of both creators, this piece stands as a rare and deeply evocative artifact of contemporary art and film history.
