Bran Symondson offers a limited number of bespoke commissions each year, providing collectors, veterans, military units, private clients, and organisations the opportunity to work directly with the artist to create a truly unique museum-quality artwork.

Every commission is individually designed around your story. Whether you are commemorating a distinguished military career, marking a retirement, honouring a loved one, celebrating a personal achievement, or creating a family heirloom, Bran will work closely with you to transform your vision into a one-of-one sculpture of exceptional provenance.
Unlike traditional commissions, there are virtually no creative limitations. Every artwork is developed from the ground up, ensuring no two pieces are ever alike.

Commission Options

Clients may commission almost any legally obtainable weapon platform or military object, including (subject to local legislation and availability):
 

• AK-47 platforms

• AR-15 / M4 / KS-1 / MCX Platforms

• Pistols

• Shotguns

• Sniper rifles

• Bronze Grenades

• Bayonets

• Helmets

• Deactivated military artefacts

• Personally owned service weapons (where legally permissible)

Each commission begins with a private design consultation with Bran, during which the concept, symbolism, materials, and display options are explored in detail.

Personalisation

Every element of the artwork can be tailored to tell your story.
Popular design elements include:
 

• Authentic world currency from countries connected to military service or personal significance

• Preserved butterflies

• Precious metals, including gold-plating

• Military maps

• Unit insignia

• Handwritten letters

• Medals or meaningful artefacts (where appropriate)

• Family heirlooms and keepsakes

• A combination of multiple materials
   

Handcrafted Glass Bullets

Bran's signature handmade glass bullets are individually blown in England and can be filled with almost any meaningful material, including:
 

• Sand from deployment locations

• Birthstones

• Semi-precious stones

• Soil from significant locations

• Fragments of meaningful objects

• Military memorabilia

• Currency

• Ashes (upon request)

• Any other personally significant material suitable for encapsulation
   

Each bullet becomes a miniature time capsule, preserving an important chapter of the client's story.

Every sculpture is professionally mounted to suit your preferred display environment.

Military Retirement & Veteran Commissions

Some of Bran's most meaningful commissions are created for serving and former members of the Armed Forces.

Military retirement gifts, regimental presentations, unit anniversaries, and veteran commemorations are approached with particular care and respect. Drawing upon his own military background, Bran works closely with clients to ensure every detail reflects the individual's service, deployments, achievements, and legacy.

Where appropriate, symbolic materials can be incorporated from countries of deployment, operational theatres, military units, or personal milestones, creating an artwork with extraordinary historical and emotional significance.

Availability

Each commission requires hundreds of hours of design, sourcing, craftsmanship, and finishing.

For this reason, Bran accepts only a limited number of private commissions each year.

Commissions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and early registration is strongly recommended, particularly for retirement presentations, military anniversaries, or deadline-driven projects that require extensive planning and international logistics.

Registering your commission allows the studio to allocate production time, begin developing the creative brief, and reserve space within Bran's production schedule.
