“WHERE POWER TRANSFORMS”

A landmark artwork. A defining moment in contemporary weapon art.

This museum-grade limited-edition print captures Bran Symondson’s extraordinary KS1 sculpture—an original one-of-one artwork that sold for £1,000,000 at auction on 6 June 2025.

Created from a genuine decommissioned Knight’s Armament Company KS1 supplied by Edgar Brothers, the original sculpture was transformed from an instrument of conflict into a powerful time capsule of military history, service and human experience.

The weapon was layered with authentic currencies connected to countries of conflict and deployment, including Afghanistan, Iraq and Ukraine. Its individually handcrafted glass bullets contained historically and personally significant materials, including North African desert sand and a fragment of a Second World War parachute.

Every element carried a story.

The resulting sculpture embodied Bran’s central artistic philosophy: even an object associated with destruction can be transformed into something that encourages reflection, conversation and change.

At auction, the KS1 achieved an extraordinary £1 million. One hundred per cent of the proceeds supported UK military charities helping serving personnel, veterans and their families. The sale marked an important moment in Bran’s career and helped establish weapon-based art as a serious contemporary collectable category.

This exclusive print preserves the detail, symbolism and commanding presence of the original artwork in a format created especially for collectors.
